Near Kyiv, a truck rammed into a VAZ: a 74-year-old driver was hospitalized"

In the Brovary district of the Kyiv region, a truck collided with a VAZ car. As a result of the accident, the driver of the car was hospitalized with injuries.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police. Law enforcement officers will investigate the circumstances of the accident.

"Recently, the police received a report of an accident at the intersection of roads in the village of Kalynivka. According to preliminary information, it was established that the 54-year-old truck driver, while making a left turn, collided with a VAZ car," the report says.

The police added that as a result of the accident, the 74-year-old driver of the car sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized. A criminal case has been opened regarding the accident with the injured party.

The guilty party faces a penalty of a fine of up to 85 thousand hryvnias, or corrective labor for up to two years, or arrest for up to six months, or restriction of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
