Tymur Tkachenko appointed war veteran Ihor Reva as the new deputy
Tymur Tkachenko continues to actively strengthen the team at the Kyiv City Military Administration. Today it was announced that his new deputy is Ukrainian military officer and manager Ihor Reva.
Ihor Reva is renowned among his comrades and colleagues for his principled stance and significant contribution to the fight for Ukraine’s independence. On February 25, 2022, the second day after Russia’s full-scale invasion, he and his brother volunteered for the army. They independently approached the military enlistment office and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the country with weapons in hand.
Ihor served with the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He actively participated in combat operations, including the 2023 counteroffensive. Many note his determination, responsibility, and willingness to take the initiative in the most challenging situations.
After completing combat missions, Ihor Reva continued his service to the state. He joined the IT sector of the Ministry of Defence, where he worked as a project manager on creating the “Reserve+” system. This project aimed to simplify and improve the registration of conscripts and reservists, which became especially important in wartime.
Additionally, Ihor was involved in organizing and launching from scratch the patronage service of one of the special units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. This was a complex and responsible task that required not only a high level of trust but also the ability to quickly create effective support systems for the military.
