The government redirected almost UAH 2.8 billion for road maintenance

The government redirected almost UAH 2.8 billion towards the development and maintenance of public roads.

This was reported by Interfax Ukraine.

The redirection of these funds to the budget program "Development and Maintenance of Public Roads" is provided by resolution No. 548 dated May 13, the agency writes.

The remaining funds from the special fund of the state budget will be used, the source of which was the revenues of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development and funds obtained through borrowings raised under state guarantees in previous years.

The remaining funds of the state budget special fund, formed by January 1, 2025, will also be used, obtained from state budget revenues received in previous years and not used in 2024.
