
The bodies of another 909 fallen Ukrainian servicemen have been returned to Ukraine.
This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
Among the dead are defenders who fell in the Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, and Kharkiv directions, as well as bodies identified in morgues in temporarily occupied territories and in the Russian Federation.
The headquarters emphasized that the return of the bodies of the fallen is the result of cooperation among several Ukrainian agencies: the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Reintegration, and other structures.
The work of returning the bodies of the defenders continues constantly, and Ukraine continues to do everything possible to honor its fallen heroes with dignity.
