
Nine people died as a result of a strike by Russian invaders on a bus near Bilopillya in the Sumy region.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Facebook.
According to preliminary information, eight people died, and five more were injured. "They are being urgently hospitalized. A rescue operation is ongoing at the site," emphasized Hryhorov.
The head of the RMA noted that the Russians struck the bus with a "Lancet" UAV, which was transporting civilians along the Bilopillya - Sumy route. The strike was carried out on the outskirts of the city of Bilopillya.
According to Hryhorov, emergency medical services, rescuers from the State Emergency Service, and the police are working at the scene.
Later, the national police reported about 9 dead and 4 injured.
"Preliminarily, nine people died, and four more were injured," the report states.
