Killing of Yanukovych’s former advisor Portnov: media revealed details
Ukrainian lawyer Andriy Portnov was shot near the private school Colegio Americano in the Madrid suburb of Pozuelo de Alarcón.
The publication El País revealed some details of the murder.
In particular, journalists reported that Portnov died this morning after being shot 5 times; 2-3 people were involved in the shooting.
"At this moment, there are no arrests. The school does not know if he is the parent of any student," the publication noted.
According to Spanish journalists, the murder occurred at approximately 9:15 am, and police officers were immediately dispatched to the crime scene at Calle de América, 3.
The police reported that they received a call from a citizen who "reported that they found an injured man lying unconscious on the ground."
The doctors who arrived at the scene confirmed the death "as a result of injuries incompatible with life, caused by at least three gunshot wounds."
"One shot, lethal, was made to the head, at neck level, from behind but at an angle, and two others — to the torso, in the abdomen and side," a source reported.
Sources from the publication in the police reported that the man is a citizen of Ukraine and was behind the wheel of a Mercedes car when he was attacked by two or three assailants, who shot him five times in the head and back.
The police did not provide details about the type of weapon used, as the investigation has only just begun.
