Enemy losses over the past day: The AFU eliminated 870 occupiers
During the past day, Ukraine’s Defence Forces eliminated and wounded approximately 870 servicemen of the Russian occupation army in battles. Also, 245 units of their military equipment and weapons were destroyed on the front, the majority of which were drones.
The total losses of manpower that the enemy suffered on Ukrainian soil since the beginning of the full-scale war amount to 977,650 invaders killed and wounded. The data as of May 22 was updated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to them, the day before, defenders downed 105 Russian operational-tactical level drones (a total of 36,797).
The warriors destroyed 99 units of enemy automotive equipment and tankers (a total of 49,268), neutralized 32 artillery systems (28,122), five combat armored vehicles (22,574), four tanks (10,839).
The data on losses of the remaining types of Russian army equipment remained unchanged: during the war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 3,895 units of their special equipment, 3,197 cruise missiles, 1,388 MLRS, 1,167 air defence systems, 372 aircraft, 336 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and a submarine.
