Russia attacked Odesa with a new strike drone similar to the "Lancet," — Kovalenko

This morning, Russian troops used a new type of attack drone against Odesa, reports military observer Oleksandr Kovalenko.

The drone was detected by Ukrainian air defense during the attack, which also involved kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type.

According to the expert, visually the new UAV resembles the Russian "Lancet," but it is larger and more powerful. "Its exact name is currently unknown, but it is capable of reaching Odesa and deeper into the region," notes Kovalenko.

The drone intruded into Ukraine’s airspace at an altitude of approximately 200 meters. According to Kovalenko, such attacks indicate that Russia continues to use the Odesa region as a testing ground for new means of warfare and tactics of their application.
