The arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine now includes the fiber-optic strike drone "Baton Optic"
The Ministry of Defence has codified and allowed the use of "Baton Optic" unmanned aerial systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which operate on fiber optics.
This was reported by the press service of the defence department.
They noted that the strike drone "Baton Optic" is equipped with a lightweight frame, powerful engines, and a spacious battery.
Its combat load allows for the effective destruction of tactical equipment, fire points, and enemy ammunition depots. The Ministry of Defence also reported that the quadcopter demonstrates high efficiency even in adverse weather conditions.
"Depending on the configuration, ’Baton Optic’ drones are equipped with twilight or thermal imaging cameras," the report states.
