The SSU confirmed the attack of Ukrainian drones on three Russian airfields

A source in the Security Service of Ukraine confirmed to the BBC that on the morning of June 1, Ukrainian drones carried out a large-scale attack on three Russian military airfields.

According to the interlocutor, as part of the special operation called "Spider Web," personally coordinated by the head of the SSU Vasyl Malyuk, more than 40 enemy aircraft were damaged, including A-50, Tu-95, and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers.

Videos are already circulating on the network showing at least four burning planes, presumably at one of the attacked sites.

Let us remind you that on June 1, three Russian military airbases were attacked:

• the "Olenya" airfield in the Murmansk region,

• "Dyagilevo" in the Ryazan region,

• and the "Bela" base in the Irkutsk region.

This large-scale attack became one of the most powerful since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, demonstrating the growing capabilities of Ukrainian forces to strike strategic targets deep within Russian territory.
