Transport collapse in Kyiv: Tkachenko promised fuel discounts until midnight

The head of the KCMA, Tkachenko, acknowledged the transportation crisis in the capital as a result of the aftermath of the night attack on the city and promised discounts at gas stations for drivers, which will be valid until midnight.

«I have addressed the gas station operators. Everyone currently traveling through Kyiv will receive discounts at gas stations of all main networks in the city. The discount will begin to apply in the coming minutes and will last until the end of the day (that is, just under two hours, - ed.). The size of the discount is determined by the companies according to their capabilities», – wrote Tkachenko.

At the same time, he himself noted that as a result of the transportation crisis, it was not the car owners who suffered the most, but the public transportation passengers who could not use the metro on the left bank of the city for most of the day.
