Situation on the Front: 28 enemy attacks repelled in the Pokrovsk direction

Since the beginning of this day, June 17, 2025, there have been 78 combat clashes on the front.

This was reported by the  press center of the General Staff.

Shelling of Ukraine

Today, communities in border settlements suffered from enemy artillery fire, including Berylivka, Senkivka, Hasichivka, Khrinivka, Mykolaivka, Arkhipivka, Leonivka in the Chernihiv region; Chernatske, Bachivsk, Vilna Sloboda, Bila Bereza, Starykove, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Myropilske, Prokhody, Turya, Hrabovske in the Sumy region; Vidrodzhenivske, Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region.

Situation in the North

In the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were 13 clashes since the beginning of the day, five of which are ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out 5 airstrikes, dropping eight guided bombs, and conducted 132 shellings of our positions and settlements, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.

Situation in the Kharkiv region

In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, the Defence Forces repelled an enemy attack near the settlement of Dovgenke.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian occupiers unsuccessfully tried to break through our defense in the area of the settlement Stepova Novoselivka.

Situation in the East

According to the General Staff, in the Lyman direction, the invading army launched seven attacks on Ukrainian unit positions near Lypove and towards Olhivka, Shandryholove, and the Seribranske forest. Four combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the Defence Forces are repelling an enemy attack towards Serebryanka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped seven enemy attacks in the area of Kurdyumivka and towards Predtechyne, Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out five assault actions towards Shcherbinivka and Yablunivka. One battle is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 29 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Poltavka, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Horićeve, Novopavlivka, and Oleksiivka. The Defence Forces hold the pressure and repelled 28 enemy attacks, one battle is still ongoing. The areas of Koptyeve and Razine were subjected to airstrikes.

Situation in the South

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy tried to break through our defenders’ defense in the areas of Odradne, Vilne Pole, Bahatyr, and towards Zaporizhzhya, Myrne, and Shevchenko. The Defence Forces successfully repelled 10 enemy assaults, two attacks are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, our defenders are repelling an enemy attack near Malynivka. The areas of Uspenivka, Malynivka, and Poltavka were subjected to airstrikes.

No combat clashes were recorded in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled an occupier’s attack in the area of the Antonivskyi bridge.

No significant changes in other directions.
