The European Commission proposed to include Ukraine in the EU roaming zone

The European Commission has officially proposed to include Ukraine in the EU roaming zone from January 2026.

«Ukrainian phone numbers will be able to use roaming without additional charges across all 27 EU countries, and the same benefits will apply to EU citizens staying in Ukraine», the statement notes.

It is worth noting that Ukraine was temporarily connected to this program at the beginning of the full-scale war. In six months, this could be secured on a permanent basis.
