The Ministry of Defence has approved the new ground drone Termit for operation

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine allowed the operation of the new domestic unmanned ground complex Termit in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

It is specified that this is an updated version of the ground drone. Previous models of tracked robotic complexes are already being used at the front. They are used for logistical tasks and observing enemy actions.

Termit drones can also serve as carriers of combat modules. The new version has improved dynamic characteristics and potential for further enhancement.

It is reported that Termit is capable of carrying up to 300 kg of cargo. Thanks to its low silhouette, low center of gravity, and tracks, the ground robot can move across various terrains and surfaces. The traction battery capacity is sufficient for several hours of continuous operation, during which the robot can cover several dozen kilometers.

Depending on the tasks set, the Termit complex is manufactured in various configurations. There are platforms for medical evacuation, logistical tasks, territory mining, transporting additional equipment, and more.
