Israel and Iran have officially announced the end of the war: a peace agreement has been signed

Israel has officially confirmed the conclusion of a ceasefire agreement with Iran.

Al Jazeera reports this, citing a statement from the country’s government.

The peace regime began after a new wave of rocket fire from Iran, which occurred literally 5 minutes before the ceasefire announced by former US President Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Tehran confirmed the accord’s coming into force at 7:30 AM Kyiv time, according to the Associated Press.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the war has ended and the main goals of both sides have been achieved. According to him, Iran no longer possesses nuclear weapons, and Israel reserves the right to a strong response in case of a breach of the peace agreement.

In the wake of the news of peace, oil prices plummeted sharply, and European gas prices fell by 10% at the opening of trades.
