The head of state, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a meeting in The Hague with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dik Schoof, and emphasized the importance of holding Russia accountable.
This was reported by a Ukrinform correspondent.
"We will persistently work towards justice and ensuring Russia’s accountability for its crimes. This is extremely important for our families, for all of us, for all of Europe, and the world that values rights and law. It is truly significant," Zelenskyy stated.
He added that he is "extremely grateful to the three largest countries in Europe that have supported us since the beginning of the Russian aggression: the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom." "Especially grateful - to the Netherlands for such support and the large aid budget for this year. I am aware that you are also considering the possibility of increasing aid for next year. Thank you sincerely," added the President.
Zelenskyy also emphasized that "the most important thing for us now is the joint production of drones. We recognize this as a priority. Everyone realizes that the level of technology in Ukraine has significantly increased during the war. And we are eager to share these technologies with our partners. We have already started cooperation with some countries on joint production, and I would be glad to collaborate with the Netherlands. Our production can operate both in Ukraine and here. And I believe this will be a great start to joint efforts."
The President also stressed that "the struggle is about survival. We stand, we fight for freedom, for our values, and our future."
