The Russian Federation legalized "documents" on real estate in the occupied regions of Ukraine until 2028

The Russian State Duma has approved a law recognizing property documents in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

This is reported by Russian media.

This law provides for the creation of "regional commissions by the executive bodies of the DPR, LPR, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhya regions, which will determine the compliance or non-compliance of documents with established criteria." Public sources write: 

"Regional commissions may make decisions regarding individual real estate objects, as well as title documents. According to the document, the commissions will perform their functions until January 1, 2028."
