Deputy Prime Minister for National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov appealed to the government with a request to extend his foreign trip until June 21, after his entourage in Ukraine received suspicions on June 13.

This was reported by UP journalist Mykhailo Tkach with reference to the NABU response.

Chernyshov had a planned foreign trip for 4 days from June 10 to 14, 2025.

This information was provided by NABU in response to UP’s request: "According to the information provided by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the specified individual was on a foreign trip to the Czech Republic and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (via the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of Belgium) from June 10 to 14, 2025 (taking into account travel time)."

NABU also confirms that Chernyshov decided not to return to the country after his entourage received suspicions, opting to wait. He decided to wait on the same day law enforcement "suspicion" occurred for his former subordinates on June 13.

Verbatim response from NABU to the request: "At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine informed that on June 13, 2025 (after the suspicions were handed to five individuals in the mentioned case), the Ministry appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to approve the foreign trip of the individual from June 15 to 21, 2025 (considering travel time) to the Republic of Austria, the French Republic, and the Republic of Poland."

According to UP’s sources in political and law enforcement circles, even intelligence was involved in the minister’s "return."

The next day, upon arrival in Ukraine, according to UP’s law enforcement sources, Chernyshov asked not to be handed a suspicion in the morning so he could attend the Cabinet meeting.

After this, the minister goes to NABU and publishes a post: "There were many rumors about possible procedural actions against me, so I personally came to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine to understand the situation."

At the same time, in response to UP’s request, NABU informs that on June 16 and 19, it sent him a summons for June 18-20 "to conduct procedural actions."

Also, on June 19, a notification was sent from the Cabinet to NABU summoning Chernyshov for June 23 "for the presentation of suspicion."

Furthermore, Chernyshov ignored the WACS hearing on June 25 due to a "government meeting," but he is not a speaker on any issue on the Cabinet meeting agenda.
