Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, on June 25, 2025, denied rumors about the occupation of the villages of Holubivka and Kindrashivka and the enemy’s approach to Radkivka in the Kupyansk district. The Armed Forces of Ukraine maintain control over the situation despite the ongoing hostilities.
This was reported by "Dumka".
"The information about direct occupation does not correspond to reality," stated Oleh Syniehubov. According to him, Russian troops entered Kindrashivka but were destroyed, and control over the village was not lost. The rumors about the capture of the villages or an advancement towards Radkivka also were not confirmed.
The Kupyansk district was occupied by the Russians from February to September 2022. After its liberation, the enemy regularly shells the region and spreads disinformation about the "capture" of villages, such as Synkivka in 2023 or Dvorichna in 2024, to destabilize the situation. Such fakes sow panic and undermine trust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Syniehubov’s denial strengthens the residents’ confidence in the control over the region.
