The leader of the "LPR" Pasichnyk has imposed a ban on the use of Starlink within the "republic".

He made this statement on June 25, as reported by local media.

"I have decided to ban the sale and use of SpaceX (USA) equipment, including Starlink terminals, in the territory of the ’LPR’. The corresponding decree has already been signed," stated the leader of the occupied Luhansk region.

In addition, he noted that in the "conditions of conducting the ’special military operation,’ protecting the information space and ensuring the safety of our citizens are tasks of primary importance".

"Starlink is a technology that could potentially be used by the enemy for coordinating actions, transmitting data, and striking our territories. We cannot ignore this threat," said Pasichnyk.
