The current Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov has already arrived at the High Anti-Corruption Court, where today the NABU and SAPO motion for his dismissal will be considered.
In addition, the court must determine a preventive measure for the official. The anti-corruption agencies are requesting a bail amount of 120 million hryvnias.
As previously reported, Chernyshov is charged with possible involvement in a corruption case, the details of which have not been officially disclosed yet. According to the investigation, due to the risks of influencing other involved parties and possible interference with the investigation, prosecutors insist on the official’s suspension from performing his duties.
A decision from the court is expected today.
