In the Kharkiv region, two children were injured as a result of the explosion of an unknown object

This was reported on Telegram by the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

"Two children were injured as a result of an explosion in the village of Stavyshche, Shevchenkivska community. Preliminary information suggests that an unknown object, which the boys found near the yard, detonated. The victims are 12 and 15 years old," the message states.

The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that the younger boy suffered an open traumatic brain injury, while the 15-year-old teenager received a burn on the hand. Both have been hospitalized.

Doctors are providing the victims with the necessary assistance. Emergency services are working at the scene.
