Due to a massive night strike, the railway infrastructure in Poltava was affected, reports "Ukrzaliznytsia".
Severe damage was sustained by the Poltava-South station: the blast wave knocked out windows and doors, and ceilings partially collapsed. The suburban station, passenger cars, and administrative buildings were also affected.
Fortunately, all passengers and staff were in shelters, so there were no casualties.
Despite the damage, train operations continue as usual.
