8 million bail: the court has chosen a preventive measure for the assistant of "servant" Kasai

The HACC appointed a bail of 8 million UAH for Dmytro Parkhisenko — assistant to MP from "Servant of the People" Hennadiy Kasai.

According to the investigation, he coordinated a scheme involving the supply of overpriced tires for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which resulted in a loss of 27.3 million UAH for the army.

What is known:

• Parkhisenko, Vysotskyi (logistics for the Armed Forces) and businessman Burtsev are acquaintances, with shared photos and contacts.
• The suspect tried to hide from detectives and "wiped" his phone.
• He used the code name "Monatik" and bought phones for the conspirators.
• The tires from China cost slightly over $1 million, but were sold to the army at almost 5 times the price.

Parkhisenko is subject to obligations: not to leave the region, to surrender his foreign passports, and not to contact witnesses.

Recall, MP Kasai is also a co-author of the controversial draft law on amnesty for crimes in the field of defence procurement.
