The Head of State, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, congratulated the servicemen of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday.
He reported this on his Telegram channel.
"Together with all our defence forces, the sailors of the Naval Forces have proven that Ukraine can protect its interests. There has been and will be no Russian landing in Odesa, the "Moskva" has sunk, Snake Island is under Ukrainian control, 28 Russian ships and one submarine have been destroyed and damaged, and the "grain corridor" operates and contributes to ensuring global food security.

In addition, Zelenskyy showed photos of the activities of the Ukrainian Navy: the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 30th Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 503rd Separate Marine Infantry Battalion, the 39th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade, the 35th Separate Marine Infantry Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhaylo Ostrohradskyi, and the River Flotilla.
