
The former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi has a higher level of trust among Ukrainians than President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This data was demonstrated by a new survey by the Sociological Group Rating.
Thus, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi is trusted by 73% of respondents, of whom 40% completely trust him, and another 33% rather trust him. Meanwhile, 67% of respondents trust Zelenskyy, of whom 39% fully trust him, and another 28% rather trust him.
In third place in trust level is the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence, Kyrylo Budanov. He is trusted by 56% of respondents, of whom 27% fully trust him, and 29% rather trust him.
Meanwhile, the current Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, is trusted by 41% of citizens, of whom 13% fully trust him, and 28% rather trust him. The lowest trust is in Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who is trusted by 25% of respondents, of whom only 5% fully trust him and 15% rather trust him.
The study was conducted on July 4-5, 2025, using the method of computer-assisted telephone interviews. The survey covered 1,000 Ukrainian citizens aged 18 and over living in all regions of Ukraine, except for the occupied territories and areas without mobile coverage. The sample is representative by age, gender, and type of settlement (margin of error does not exceed 3.1% with a confidence level of 0.95).
