BES searches "Tehno Yizhak": a scheme of "gray" Apple imports through customs officers and minibuses uncovered

The season of summer activity for law enforcement is in full swing.

Today, the Bureau of Economic Security visited one of the main networks for distributing gray Apple products "Tehno Yizhak (Hedgehog)", owned by Oleksiy Hulyi.

Searches are being conducted both at the company’s warehouses in the Kyiv and Lviv regions and among Lviv customs officers involved in the illegal import scheme of phones.

According to the investigation, illegal Apple equipment was entering Ukraine in the well-known "Iveco buses" bypassing customs attention, and then large batches were sent by mail to the network warehouses of stores.
In particular, the warehouses of "Tehno Yizhak".
