A well-known journalist from Chernihiv was killed in the war
Bohdan Zayats, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a journalist for the communal enterprise "New Chernihiv" of the Chernihiv City Council, died in the war —.

On January 30, 2025, Bohdan died on the Donetsk front as a result of enemy fire. It was only possible to determine his fate after several months of extended searches and waiting.
