It is expected that Bukovynian Svitlana Hrynchuk will become part of the new government under the leadership of Yuliya Svyrydenko.

First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko, whom President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to appoint as head of the government, stated that she plans to announce her proposals regarding candidates for ministerial positions soon.

In the new government composition, the current Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko, is planned to be replaced. He may be succeeded by the current Minister of Ecology from Chernivtsi, Svitlana Hrynchuk. This was reported on Monday, July 14, by "Ukrainian Pravda", citing its own sources in the government, the Verkhovna Rada, and the energy market.

Hrynchuk is professionally connected to the environmental sphere, but she once served as the deputy to Halushchenko in the Ministry of Energy, where she was responsible for international activities.

The Ministry of Energy previously noted that Hrynchuk is an expert in the fields of energy, climate change, and environmental protection, with experience working in the government (Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Environmental Protection), international financial institutions (World Bank), international technical assistance projects (GIZ, USAID), and participation in negotiations within the UN, Energy Community, OECD, etc.
