The family of sanctioned ex-Regional Yevtyahin conducts business in Ukraine, possessing Russian passports and connections with Russian intelligence services
Despite the NSDC sanctions against Serhiy Yevtyahin — a former "regional" and businessman with dual citizenship — his family continues to actively conduct business activities in Ukraine. His wife Inna, son Serhiy, and daughter Vladyslava, who have Russian passports, have not faced any restrictions, although they work both in Russia and in temporarily occupied territories.
According to open sources, the Yevtyahin family systematically cooperates with Russian security forces, business, and criminal elements, as well as transmits secret information to Russian special services. Despite this, Ukrainian companies associated with the Yevtyahin family have not ceased operations.
Specifically, Inna Yevtyahina owns a business in the Kyiv region, which, according to law enforcement, helped supply the Russian army with food, fuel, and provisions during the advance on Kyiv. Serhiy Yevtyahin himself is still officially the owner of the farming enterprise "Maxim" (Brovary district) and LLC "Business Lex Lux" (Kyiv), as well as companies in Yenakiieve, including LLC "Sigma Si" and "Favorit Group".
Yevtyahin’s son, a former SSU employee, reportedly uses his connections to avoid responsibility. Daughter Vladyslava, who also holds a Russian passport, has repeatedly been involved in scandalous road accidents in the capital.
In December 2023, the NSDC imposed sanctions against Yevtyahin Sr. and his company from the "DPR", but the relatives remain outside the scope of sanctions. In 2023, the entire family crossed the border with Hungary and is likely currently in Poland. According to sources, they continue to finance Russian aggression.
The fact of the unimpeded operation of their companies calls into question the effectiveness of Ukrainian sanctions against individuals associated with the aggressor state.
