The government will launch a new project for the restoration of housing and infrastructure

Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko announced the launch of an experimental initiative "Design and Build," aimed at accelerating the restoration of destroyed housing and infrastructure.

She published the corresponding statement on her Facebook page.

According to Svyrydenko, the project involves the construction of housing, hospitals, schools, and other social facilities using a "turnkey" approach.

"This is a European method known as Design-build, which has been used in the EU for a long time as an effective tool. The contractor will be responsible for both developing the project documentation and executing the construction work," she wrote.

The project is planned for two years and will be under the personal supervision of Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration Oleksiy Kuleba.
