A total of 425 hryvnias: The venue where Serdyuchka performed with Russian-language hits was fined

The director of a Kyiv establishment was fined 425 hryvnias for performing songs in Russian by Verka Serduchka, as reflected in the decision of the Boryspil court.

The entrepreneur was found guilty of violating the language legislation during a concert on June 13. In addition, he must pay a court fee of 605 hryvnias.

Let’s recall that the language ombudsman noted that songs in Russian are not prohibited, and therefore Andriy Danylko, who performs as Serduchka, will not be punished.

After the scandal, Danylko sent his detractors "to hell" from the stage.
