In the Verkhovna Rada, a vote was held for the destruction of the independence of NABU and SAPO

The Verkhovna Rada passed bill No. 12414 in its entirety, effectively depriving NABU and SAPO of their independence.

This was reported by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

The leader of the "Fatherland" party, Yuliya Tymoshenko, expressed her support for this decision from the podium. She criticized the "grant-funded patriots" and stated that for her, today is a "bright day in this Rada."

The "Servants of the People" met her speech with applause. The successful vote was also greeted with ovations by the deputies.
