Situation on the front: since the beginning of the day, there have been 72 combat engagements

This is reported by  the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation launched artillery shelling on the areas of settlements Velykyi Prykil, Sosnivka, Malushyne, Popivka, Korenyok, Khliborob in the Sumy region.

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled six attacks by invaders, three more clashes continue. The enemy also carried out seven airstrikes, using 11 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 207 shellings, five of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, there were four clashes in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and Dvorichna, with one battle still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried seven times during the day to advance to our positions in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, Zahryzove, Novoplatonivka. The defense forces successfully repelled four enemy attacks, with three more clashes ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 offensive actions by the occupying army in the areas of settlements Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Serednye, Shandryholove, Dronivka, and Shypylivka, with four clashes still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions twice in the area of Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Toretsk direction, the invaders advanced once on the positions of our units in the area of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy tried to advance 26 times during the day to our positions near the settlements of Popiv Yar, Myroliubivka, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Zvirove, Udachne, Oleksiivka, Novoukrayinka, and in the direction of Pankivka, Volodymyrivka, Sukhetske. Five clashes are ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the aggressor attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhya, Zircha, Piddubne, Olexandrohrad, and Vilne Pole.

In the Hulyaipole and Orikhiv directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions but did deliver an airstrike on Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, four attempts by the enemy to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units failed.

In other directions, significant changes in the situation have not occurred at this time.
