Employees of NABU are to be prohibited from traveling abroad, except for official business trips
For NABU employees, a travel ban abroad may be introduced – with exceptions for official business trips. The relevant recommendation is included in the draft law 13533 regarding the roles of SAPO and NABU, which President Volodymyr Zelenskyy registered on July 24.
However, this provision does not directly prohibit such travel but instructs the Cabinet of Ministers and NABU itself to amend the regulatory acts regarding the ban on NABU employees traveling abroad during martial law, except for official business trips, within a month.
It is worth mentioning that since January 2023, point 2-14 of the Border Crossing Rules has been in effect, introduced at one time at the president’s directive.
