Loans from the son, apartments in Kyiv, and children abroad: what the new Ukrainian ambassador to Malaysia declared

The new Ukrainian ambassador to Malaysia and former director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hennadiy Nadolenko, has declared three apartments in Kyiv and receives loans from his son.

Nadolenko is registered and resides in Kyiv, has a wife, Yuliya Nadolenko, who owns a significant portion of the declared assets. The declaration also mentions a son, Vladyslav Nadolenko, as the source of loans, although he is not listed as a family member.

The declaration includes information on five real estate properties, of which only one belongs to Hennadiy Nadolenko himself, while the rest belong to his wife:

- Apartment (58.68 m²): purchased by Yuliya Nadolenko on March 2, 1996, for 21.2 thousand UAH
- Apartment (128.1 m²): purchased by Yuliya Nadolenko on October 16, 2005, for 475 thousand UAH
- Apartment (63.4 m²): purchased by Hennadiy Nadolenko on May 21, 2014, for 601 thousand UAH

The family also owns two land plots in the Brovary district (1200 and 3800 m²), purchased by his wife in 2012 for 400 UAH, which are anomalously low prices.

The wife owns a Toyota RAV4 (2020), purchased in the same year for 1 million UAH.

The total income of the Nadolenko family for 2024 is 1.5 million UAH. The husband received a loan from his son amounting to 600 thousand UAH. 

The Nadolenko family declared 7 thousand dollars and 2 thousand euros in cash. The family also has six loans totaling 18 thousand dollars from their son, received throughout 2024. None of the loans have been repaid. They also have two credits totaling 175 thousand UAH. 

Hennadiy Nadolenko’s son, Vladyslav, attended a secondary school at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is currently in Chicago, USA. Hennadiy Nadolenko’s daughter, Sofia, resides in Monaco.
