In the Khmelnytskyi region, explosions were heard amid the threat of "Kinzhals"

On the morning of July 28, explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region amidst a large-scale air alert due to the threat of "Kinzhal" type missiles.

This was reported by Suspilne and the Ukrainian Air Force.

"Explosions can be heard in the Khmelnytskyi region," the journalists noted.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, a high-speed aerial object was detected heading towards the Khmelnytskyi region.

"A high-speed target in the direction of the Khmelnytskyi region," the report states.

It was previously reported about the takeoff of a Russian MiG-31K fighter, capable of carrying hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles.

As of 08:30, the air alert had been lifted in most regions of Ukraine.
