
Russia launched a combined attack on Kyiv on the night of July 31, using missiles and drones. The city has numerous damaged buildings, a destroyed entrance of a residential block, and dozens of people are injured.
During the night of July 31, air raid alerts were announced three times in the capital. The first one was in the evening of July 30, lasting over four hours and was related to a drone attack.
Repeated air raid alerts were announced in the morning due to ballistic threat. It was then that the Russians launched a missile attack on Kyiv.
As a result of the drone raids, the Solomianskyi district of the city was the most affected, with debris falling on buildings, non-residential premises, and vehicles, and hitting one of the higher education institutions.

Victims and injured
As of 06:30, one death is reported in Kyiv. According to local authorities, there are 27 injured in the capital, including police officers.
"Overall in Kyiv as of 6:30 - 1 deceased person and over 20 injured. Among the injured are three police officers who were responding to a call. Two injured people were rescued from under the rubble," said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.
As of 07:05, the number of injured in Kyiv increased to 48, as reported by Mayor Vitaliy Klychko. 29 of them were hospitalized.
Additionally, it became known about another victim. Thus, the death toll rose to two people.
