The military counterintelligence of the SSU detained the commander of a unit of one of the military parts in northern Ukraine, who was involved in selling "deferrals" from service.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine on July 30.

For money, the suspect arranged for draft dodgers to get jobs and enroll in one of Kyiv’s universities. At the same time, clients were enrolled in the university only "on paper," and they did not physically appear there.

To implement the "scheme," the perpetrator used personal connections among officials of the educational institution.

Additionally, the schemer forged medical certificates of disability and sold fake diplomatic IDs. For this, he used counterfeit forms and seals of state institutions.
