In Zakarpattia, border guard officers stopped a minibus converted into a medical vehicle of a combat unit. Inside were two civilians with no connection to medical services.
This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
"The driver, a resident of Kyiv region, equipped an ordinary civilian vehicle as specialized medical transport and, posing as a ’paramedic,’ attempted to transport a passenger to the border zone for 2,500 dollars. Further travel to Romania would have cost an additional 8,000 euros," the statement reads.
At the moment, the driver has been detained and charged with suspicion, while the second man has been held administratively liable.
