
Orest Drymalovskyi, a military officer and TV host, has been selected as the new spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, reported the ministry’s press service on Saturday, August 9.
The Ministry of Defence noted that this service member was a participant in the defence of Ukraine as part of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade in the Donetsk region and was awarded the Cross of Valor medal.
Since 2015, he has been involved in journalism and is a graduate of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Drymalovskyi worked as a correspondent and host on the Pershyi Zakhidnyi channel, later on the Vikna-Novyny program on STB. In February 2024, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which he announced during the United News telethon.
A few days ago, the service member announced that he is concluding his service in the Air Assault Troops and thanked his comrades for the time spent together.
