
The official nomination of Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize was announced by the White House, which also presented a list of international leaders who supported his candidacy:
- Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who signed a peace agreement at the White House over the weekend;
- The Government of Pakistan (notably, India and Pakistan started a brief war, which was resolved through Trump’s mediation);
- Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Manet (Cambodia and Thailand were engaged in military actions, but also ended the conflict due to the threat of tariffs imposed by Trump);
- Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu (Trump halted a military conflict between Israel and Iran by striking nuclear facilities in Tehran);
- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda Olivier Nduhungirehe;
- President of Gabon Brice Oligui Nguema.
