The SBI has completed the investigation of Vitaliy Shabunin’s case concerning evasion of military service

The State Bureau of Investigation has completed the investigation in the case of Vitaliy Shabunin, related to evasion from service in the army. The case will soon be referred to court.

As part of the investigation, the circumstances of the activist’s use of a vehicle intended for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also examined, and no grounds for suspicion were found.

Let us remind you that yesterday Shabunin’s former commander received a new suspicion in this case. It was he who sent Shabunin to the National Agency for Corruption Prevention, where, according to the investigation, he did not perform any official duties or functions of the institution, yet received a military salary.
