In the "LPR," it is prohibited to publish photos and videos of the aftermath of shelling
The "decree" by Leonid Pasichnyk mentions a ban on publishing photos and videos of impacts and their consequences in the media and social networks.
"The ban covers the publication in the media, messengers, and social networks of materials that capture places and consequences… of attacks, missile and drone falls, ammunition explosions, which allow determining the location of military, as well as fuel-energy and industrial facilities. Prohibited materials will be removed from open sources on the Internet," — it is stated in the «decree».
Pasichnyk explained that «this measure is necessary to prevent the leakage of information that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may use for repeated strikes. This, in turn, will protect the life and health of people and help our military perform combat missions more effectively. The safety of civilians is above all».
