Enemy losses for the day: The Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized 940 occupiers and two tanks
In the past day, the Ukrainian defence forces on the front destroyed 324 units of Russian weapons and military equipment. During the battles, approximately 940 war criminals from the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces were killed and wounded.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the defenders have already deactivated approximately 1,070,890 enemy combatants of the aggressor’s army. This was reported on August 18 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The defenders shot down 157 Russian operational-tactical level drones (totaling 51,685).
The soldiers turned into scrap 43 artillery systems (totaling 31,632), five armored fighting vehicles (23,148), two tanks (11,118), and one MLRS (1,469) of the occupying forces.
Additionally, the fighters burned another 116 units of automotive equipment and tankers (58,937) of the enemy forces.
In total, throughout the full-scale war, the defence forces also destroyed 3,942 units of special equipment, 3,558 cruise missiles, 1,208 air defence systems, 422 aircraft, 340 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and a submarine of the Russian Armed Forces.
