The Prosecutor’s Office returned a plot of land worth 31 million hryvnias to the Kyiv community on Avtozavodska Street
The deputies were not concerned with verifying whether the area of the land plot corresponds to the area of the structures located on it, and moreover, whether the plot is a single entity: it turned out that it was composed of two completely different parts.
This is reported by Informator.
The Kyiv community has regained a land plot on Avtozavodska Street in the Obolonskyi district. In November 2023, the Kyiv City Council leased it to a private company, as buildings with a total area of over 1,500 sq.m. are located on it. However, the plot itself is almost six times larger than the area of the real estate - it was formed by adding a "patch" from another plot that belongs to a different category.

The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office reports the return of a land plot with an area of 0.85 hectares and a value of 31 million UAH on Avtozavodska Street in the Obolonskyi district of the city to the people of Kyiv. The lawsuit filed by the prosecutors was upheld by the Commercial Court of the capital: the arguments were sufficient to cancel the decision of the Kyiv City Council.
The deputies transferred the plot to a private company in November 2023. Its designated purpose was for the construction and maintenance of administrative buildings and office structures. The basis for this was the registration of ownership rights to real estate with an area of over 1,500 sq.m. located on this plot.
However, law enforcement officers discovered many controversial points in the decision of the Kyiv City Council. Firstly, the plot itself is almost six times larger than the area of the real estate. Secondly, it was formed by incorporating a part of a plot from a different land category - yet no land management documentation was developed or approved for this transfer.
It should be noted that on the land returned to the city by law enforcement, there are car service stations and one- or two-story structures from Soviet times. However, the territory has potential: near this address, the "Berezhanskyi" residential complex has already been built, replacing similar car service stations and industrial "slums." Therefore, the owners likely had their own plans for this land plot.
