In Odesa region, more illegal "transporters" violating border laws were discovered. They attempted to smuggle draft evaders through Moldova, but the transfer turned out to be unsuccessful.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGSU). It is noted that near the border between Ukraine and Moldova, border guards stopped a passenger car carrying eight passengers at once. One of them was the administrator of a Telegram channel and was supposed to guide six "clients" on a safe route to the unrecognized Transnistria.

"Officers of the Internal and Personal Security Department of the Podilskyi Border Detachment of the SBGSU uncovered another scheme for the illegal smuggling of citizens across the border," the border guards’ statement reads.

For this, the draft evaders paid the organizer between $7,500 and $8,500 in cryptocurrency, while the driver’s services cost an additional 5,000 UAH. Now, both face criminal liability. Administrative protocols were drawn up for the passengers. The funds and the vehicle were seized.
