Today, August 19, Russians attacked Nizhynshchyna with strike drones. As a result of the attack, a resident of Nizhyn was killed.

This was reported by the police of Chernihiv region.

- In the morning, the enemy attacked Nizhyn with strike drones. Unfortunately, a local resident - a civilian man - was killed. He was 45 years old, - detailed the incident Vyacheslav Chaus, the head of Chernihiv Regional State Administration, on his Telegram channel.

Police officers are documenting the consequences of the attack and collecting evidence of yet another war crime by the occupiers.

A criminal case has been opened by investigators under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (War Crimes).
