The leader of the "DPR" Pushilin acknowledged the absence of underground water reserves in the occupied Donetsk region

In the occupied areas of the Donetsk region, where the largest water crisis is observed, no large reserves of groundwater have been found.

This was stated by the so-called head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin.

The collaborator noted:

«Desalination of the Sea of Azov is not cost-effective because there is nowhere to store the leftover toxic sea salt. Environmentalists would never allow this. There is water under the Sea of Azov, but the technology for such extraction is expensive and has never been used in the USSR or Russia.»
