Former head of "Energoatom" Petro Kotin is currently leaving Ukraine through the "Ustyluh-Zosin" checkpoint, — reports Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
According to the MP, Kotin likely has the right to leave — he is 64 years old. He led "Energoatom" for the last several years, but on Thursday, August 21, he submitted a resignation letter.
Among the reasons for the resignation, media mentioned involvement in corruption schemes and the likelihood of an indictment being announced.
